Join BIO El Paso-Juarez in Getting to Know Our Binational Biomedical Ecosystem!
BIO El Paso-Juarez, in partnership with the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation, Workforce Solutions Borderplex, and the Borderplex Alliance, has hired Grant Thornton consultants to conduct a strategic analysis of the region’s medical device manufacturing industry and ecosystem. After months of thorough evaluation and more than 60 in-person interviews with manufacturers, suppliers, government officials, universities, and other support organizations, the Bi-National Medical Device Ecosystem Mapping Project is now complete.
This study has produced a snapshot of the current biomedical device ecosystem, a catalogue of industry participants, an economic analysis of the regional industry, and a strategic roadmap for enhancing the ecosystem for future growth. Beyond medical devices, the results of this study have far-reaching implications to include areas such as regional infrastructure, cross-border trade, automation and AI, talent and labor force, funding, governance, and more.
We invite you to attend community presentations to be held in El Paso and Ciudad Juarez, on Monday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 20th, respectively, to hear from the Grant Thornton team on the results of the study and the next steps BIO El Paso-Juarez will be undertaking to ensure that the regional medical device industry continues to grow and compete globally.
The event is free to attend; however, RSVP is required. Register down below.
