Getting to Know Your Binational Biomedical Ecosystem

BIO El Paso-Juarez, in partnership with the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation, Workforce Solutions Borderplex, and the Borderplex Alliance, hired Grant Thornton consultants to conduct a strategic analysis of the region’s medical device manufacturing industry and ecosystem.  After months of thorough evaluation and more than 60 in-person interviews with manufacturers, suppliers, government officials, universities, and other support organizations, the Bi-National Medical Device Ecosystem Mapping Project is now complete.

If you had the chance to make it out to either of the Getting to Know Your Binational Biomedical Ecosystem Presentations and did not fill out one of our feedback forms, you find it down below and fill it out electronically to email it to BIO EPJ El Paso Director Jackie Butler at Let us know what your thoughts, comments, and suggestions are, and if you would like to be involved in any of the Taskforce groups that are being formed.

We would still like to hear from you even if you did not have the chance to attend either presentation. The strategy report and full presentation can be found below as well. Send us a filled-out feedback form after reviewing either and let us know if you will be joining any of the task-forces that will look to ensure that our regional medical device industry continues to grow and compete globally.
