GLabels was founded in 1987 creating a business relationship for a Mexican family business as a result of the need to acquire self-adhesive materials directly from North American and European Manufacturers. This company operated in this way until 1992 when they started commercial operations as a sales agency for several manufacturers of self-adhesive products regularly.

GLabels is dedicated to the manufacturing of pressure-sensitive labels and the distribution of packaging-related products. GLabels supplies labels and associated services to worldwide manufacturers in the automotive, consumer electronics, medical devices, industrial, aerospace, and food packaging industries.

With the advent of the free trade agreement between Mexico and the United States, the company made the strategic decision to acquire conversion equipment and dedicate itself to the manufacture of self-adhesive products and specialized conversion by acquiring and equipping a 7,000-square-foot plant located in the city of El Paso Texas, reaching up to three cutting and printing machines with six-color in-line capacity. During this same period, the organization decided to move towards the ISO 9000 certification, being the first company in the field to achieve it.
